DAY 1 (WEDNESDAY) of Hunting
Arrival in Vilnius, clearance of firearms through customs by our reps (the paperwork is already in place and is done 2 weeks prior to your arrival), transfer to high quality Hunting Lodge 40 km outside of Vilnius, a good 3 course dinner made by your own Private Chef! After the delicious meal, there will be a small introductory meeting by our Hunting guide - the Head of Directorate General of State Forests.
In the late evening you will be collected from the Hunting Lodge and driven to the Hunting area by our jeeps, before the Hunting begins a short introduction will be given by our first class hunting experts. They are the best in Lithuania! The first night you can sit in High Seats and wait for Wild Boar to come. It's exciting and nerve wracking. A good scope and a pair of Night Vision Binos helps identify the right animal to shoot. Night hunting for about 3-4 hours. A small snack will be served when we return to the Hunting Lodge after hunting. DAY 2 (THURSDAY) of Hunting
Time to get up early... Small breakfast and a short ride to the Hunting area.
This morning we will experience driven Wild Boar Hunting. You will draw numbers as in a Pheasant Shoot and stand in 6 ft towers on forestry rides so that you are above the quarry and your shot is always down into the ground. Sometimes you will see nothing, other times a flurry of activity as a family of Mother and 'young' ( 90 kilos 2 year olds !! ) come dashing through the line ! Sometimes and old tusker ambles through, these Leviathons can go to 230 kilos !! After the 3-4 hours early morning hunt we will drive back to the Hunting Lodge, have another breakfast and a few hours of rest. In the afternoon, after having lunch, we will try out the real Lithuanian sauna experience. In the evening, surrounded by roaring fires, a 3 course dinner will be served and afterwards you will have time for a little rest before we head out for the late evening hunt. The evening hunt will be either driven Wild Boar Hunting or if you prefer in High Seats. During the evening you will probably see about 20 Wild Boars as well as Roe Deer and Red Deer come to the feed areas each night. Upon returning to the Hunting Lodge a small snack and drinks will await you. DAY 3 (FRIDAY) of Hunting
After a small breakfast, we will once again take the short ride to the Hunting area. Your choice of driven or High Seats Wild Boar Hunting.
Breakfast is ready when you return from the Hunting. A few hours of rest might be needed after a good breakfast. Lunch is served at noon. If after lunch you and your Hunting party feels like it, we can organise a local Sightseeing in the areas around the Hunting Lodge. A feast of a 3 course evening dinner will be prepared and presented by your private chef. The evening hunt will be either driven Wild Boar Hunting or if you prefer in High Seats. A evening full of Wild Boars await you! When returning home to the Hunting Lodge after a good hunt, you will have a few snacks before it's time to go to bed. DAY 4 (SATURDAY) of Hunting
On the last Hunting day, after the 3-4 hours early morning Wild Boar Hunting, we'll have breakfast. A short reception with the Head of the Hunt will take place and whoever might want to ship the meat back home will get the permissions here.
Around noon we will head to Vilnius for a nice afternoon and a good night on the town. We will drive you to your Hotel in the heart of the Old Town, Novotel Vilnius****. A delicious lunch incl. drinks is served at the hotel, followed by a small Sightseeing of Vilnius Old Town. 3 course dinner incl. drinks in BuGa, St. Valentino or Zemaiciu Smukle - followed by a big night out if required! We guarantee you a VIP night at the best nightclubs the town has to offer! DAY 5 (SUNDAY) of Hunting
After breakfast the morning is yours. Check-out. Transfer to airport.

For the hunting areas a special program was prepared to augment wild animals and special measures for the augmentation of the hunted animals are being put into life. In order to keep the optimal ecological number of the animals, there are biotechnical cuttings carried out at winter time that improves the basis of feed. Every year the appointed feeding places are sowed with cereals, animals are fed additionally and the meadows are mowed in summer. |
